Fold the side menu away on a computer
Shrink the left-hand menu to a strip of icons and give the page the space back.
On a computer the menu sits down the left of every screen. On a smaller laptop that is a fair slice of the width, and once you know where things are you do not need to read the words every time. You can fold it down to a narrow strip of icons.
- 1Click the double arrow at the top of the menu, next to the SyteNav logo.
- 2The menu shrinks to a column of icons and the page grows into the space it leaves.
- 3Hover over an icon to see what it is. Clicking works exactly as before.
- 4Click the double arrow again to bring the labels back.
SyteNav remembers how you left it, per computer, so it opens the same way next time. Sign in on a different machine and that one starts with the menu open.
Nothing changes on a phone or a tablet. There the menu already lives behind the button in the top left corner, with the main sections along the bottom of the screen.
