Company money across all jobs (Master Money)
Every project's budget, commitments, billing, and escrow in one table.
Master Money (admin only) rolls up the numbers from every project you run.
- 1Click Master Money in the sidebar (under Master).
- 2See per-project Budgeted, Committed, Billed, Paid, Received, and Escrow, plus totals.
- 3Click a row to open that project's Billing the client page. On a phone each job shows Received, Paid out and Escrow - tap it for the rest and a link to the job.
WHAT ESCROW IS HERE. The client money you are holding: what the client has paid you, minus what you have paid vendors out of escrow, minus your fee on vendor bills that are approved, sent or paid. A vendor bill marked paid with no client/escrow split counts as paid from escrow in full; money the client paid a vendor directly does not touch it. The fee is worked out bill by bill, exactly as on each job's Billing the client tab - a bill marked at cost earns none, a bill with its own rate uses it, and a bill split across budget lines earns each line's rate on its part - so Master Money and the job always show the same escrow.
A negative escrow shows in red: more has gone out - vendor payments plus your fee - than the client has paid in, and you are carrying the difference until they pay more.
Jobs with no money on them at all are folded into one "no money yet" row on a phone. Tap it to list them.
